Payment & Returns

At Tron Records, we want shopping for vinyl and CDs to feel as good as dropping the needle on your favourite album — easy, secure, and worry-free. Below you’ll find an overview of our payment options and how returns and exchanges work.

Payment Options

Credit & Debit Cards

We accept major credit and debit cards via our secure online payment gateway (for example Visa, Mastercard, and others supported by our provider). Your card details are encrypted and are not stored on our website.

Afterpay

For eligible orders, Afterpay lets you split your purchase into interest-free instalments, subject to Afterpay’s own approval and terms. Simply select Afterpay at checkout and follow the prompts.

Gift Vouchers

Tron Records online gift vouchers can be used as a payment method in our online store by entering the voucher code at checkout.
(Please update this line with your actual voucher conditions such as expiry date and where vouchers can be used.)

Currency & Pricing

All prices are shown in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST unless stated otherwise. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and order weight.

Secure Checkout

Our checkout uses industry-standard SSL encryption to help keep your details safe. For security reasons we never ask you to send card information by email or social media.

Returns & Exchanges

We understand that sometimes things aren’t quite right. The guidelines below cover online orders; in-store purchases follow a similar process but may be handled directly at the shop counter.

Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Items

If your record arrives damaged in transit, appears faulty, or you receive the wrong item, please get in touch as soon as possible — ideally within 10 days of delivery.

  • Keep all packaging and take clear photos of the damage or issue.
  • Contact us with your order number and photos so we can assess the problem.

Once we’ve confirmed the issue, we will work with you on a suitable solution, such as a replacement, store credit, or refund, in line with New Zealand consumer law and our store policy.
(Please update this paragraph to match your real practice – for example, whether you usually offer replacement first, or refund.)

Items Not Eligible for Return

Some items may not be eligible for return or refund except where required by law. Examples may include:

  • digital downloads
  • gift vouchers
  • clearance / "as-is” items clearly marked as non-returnable

(Replace or adjust this list according to what you actually exclude from returns.)

In-Store Purchases

For purchases made in person at our Hamilton store, please bring your receipt and the item back to the shop. Our team will review your request in line with our in-store policy and New Zealand consumer guarantees.
(Here you can add any specific in-store rules you already have, such as time limits for exchanges.)
