Do you buy used vinyl records?

TRON Records may purchase selected vinyl collections in Hamilton depending on genre, title, and overall condition. As every collection is different, we are only able to assess records in person. If you are interested in selling, please bring your records directly to our Frankton store during opening hours. We are open daily (except Christmas Day).

Do you ship within New Zealand and internationally?

Yes. We offer NZ-wide and international shipping with tracking available via NZ Post. Records are carefully packed to protect sleeves and corners during transit. Please see "Shipping and Delivery" page for more detail.

How do you grade your records?

Many of our records are 50–60 years old and are carefully ultrasonically cleaned and visually inspected before grading. Due to the age of vintage vinyl, some signs of wear or playback-related characteristics may occur. We do not play-test every record but apply a consistent in-store visual grading standard. Our grading scale includes Mint, Near Mint, VG+, VG, and Good. Because vintage records naturally vary, we are unable to accept returns based solely on playback preference or sound-related expectations.
