Welcome to tronrecords.nz, operated by The Tron Limited ("we", "our", "us"). By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website.

3. Products and Services

We sell second-hand and pre-loved items, including vinyl records, CDs, DVDs, cassettes, books, selected art pieces, and gift vouchers. All items are carefully cleaned, visually inspected, and graded to the best of our ability. However, as second-hand goods, variations in condition should be expected. Records are not play-tested prior to sale.

All items are subject to availability. As many items are one-of-a-kind, availability cannot be guaranteed until payment has been completed.

4. Pricing and Payment

All prices are displayed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST (Goods and Services Tax).

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • Internet Banking
  • Afterpay

Orders are processed and dispatched only after full payment has been received. Orders with incomplete or failed payments will not be processed or held.

5. Shipping and Delivery

All orders are securely packed and shipped via NZ Post with tracking. Orders are generally dispatched on business days following receipt of full payment.

In rare cases, items may sell in-store before online stock updates are reflected. If this occurs, a full refund will be issued.

Domestic Shipping (New Zealand)

  • Orders $125 and over: Free shipping
  • Orders under $125: $15 shipping fee
  • Rural addresses: additional $5 charge applies

CDs

  • Orders $29.99 and over: Free shipping
  • Orders under $29.99: $9.50 shipping fee
  • Rural addresses: additional $5 charge applies

Estimated delivery within New Zealand is approximately 1–5 business days after dispatch, depending on location and postal conditions. All domestic orders are shipped with tracking, and tracking details will be provided once the order has been dispatched.

Click & Collect (In-Store Pickup)

Click & Collect is available free of charge from our physical store location. Orders may be collected during store opening hours once confirmation is received.

International Shipping (Overseas)

We offer international shipping to most countries. International shipping costs vary depending on destination, parcel weight, and size, and are calculated manually. Shipping costs will be confirmed prior to purchase.

Estimated delivery times (guidelines only):

  • Australia & Asia: approximately 5–10 business days
  • USA & Canada: approximately 7–14 business days
  • UK & Europe: approximately 10–20 business days

Delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to customs clearance, local postal services, or public holidays.

All international orders are shipped with tracking. Tracking details will be provided once the order has been dispatched. Optional parcel insurance is available upon request and must be arranged at the time of purchase.

International orders are typically processed via PayPal invoice. Shipment will commence once payment for both the item and shipping has been received.

If your country is not listed at checkout or on our shipping table, please contact us for a custom shipping quote.

Any customs duties, taxes, or import charges imposed by the destination country are the responsibility of the buyer. Please ensure all shipping details provided are complete and accurate. Tron Records is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect address information or customs procedures.

6. Returns and Refunds

Tron Records specialises in vintage and second-hand items. All records are cleaned, visually inspected, and graded; however, records are not play-tested prior to sale.

Due to the nature of vintage items, some degree of aging, wear, or playback-related characteristics may occur. Customers are encouraged to carefully review item descriptions and grading information before purchasing.

Returns are accepted only if an item is confirmed to be significantly different from its description or is faulty. Examples may include:

  • Major defects not clearly stated in the product description or grading
  • Significant damage that materially affects the integrity of the item

Returns will not be accepted for:

  • Change of mind
  • Playback quality or sound-related preferences
  • Normal signs of age or wear consistent with the stated grade

Gift Vouchers: Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash, except where required by law.

Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be returned in the same condition as supplied
  • The item must be returned with original packaging, labels, and invoice
  • Return shipping must be sent via a trackable method

Tron Records is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping.

Refund Process

Once a returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome. Approved refunds will be processed within 7 business days and issued to the original payment method.

If an item is confirmed to be faulty or significantly misdescribed, a full refund or replacement (where available) will be offered.

7. Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled prior to dispatch. To request a cancellation, please contact us as soon as possible at tronrecords@tronrecords.nz or by phone on 07 847 2766.

8. Intellectual Property

All website content, including text, images, product descriptions, and branding, is the intellectual property of The Tron Limited and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without prior written permission.
